Community Services

The Westside Community Services Division provides community support to improve the psychological, spiritual and overall wellbeing of our community residents. This support includes emotional and practical support for survivors of traumatic loss due to homicide, terminal illness, multigenerational trauma, accidents, suicide and violence. Programming includes Transitional Housing, Therapeutic Living Communities and African American focused community services for San Francisco vulnerable populations who have been marginalized due to poverty, race, mental illness, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

The African American Health Collaborative

Westside’s African American Health Collaborative utilizes an Afrocentric holistic approach to service delivery, acknowledging that African American families are impacted by socio-economic co-factors that influence outcomes.
